AUDIO PROFILES – SordinHEAR2

Human hearing is sensitive to different sound levels and frequencies. The SordinHEAR2 audio profiles are pre-set ambient sound listening modes, which optimize your sound experience by adapting the gain and frequency depending on the actual tactical situation. You switch easily between audio profiles and each selection is confirmed by voice feedback. The following audio profiles are included:

Tactical: Medium gain and frequency spectrum
Comfort: Low gain and frequency spectrum
Dual: High gain and frequency spectrum
‍Ambient off: Ambient sound turned off

SORDIN FLEX

Customize your headset

Several T2 components are interchangeable, allowing you to adapt your headset to different tactical needs. You can reconfigure it yourself—even in the field—without special tools. For example, you can fit your T2 to different helmet models by choosing from the accessories in the SordinFLEX component range.

SordinFLEX is a modular design platform that lets you reconfigure your tactical headset using a selection of standard accessories. For instance, you can switch from ARC Rail helmet mounting to a headband or neckband version by simply swapping out the suspension kit. Components can also be replaced as they wear out, extending the life of your headset.

The T2 Flex Com CC communication kit includes a built-in downlead for connecting a PTT and radio. Switching between headset configurations is quick and easy—a simple bayonet grip lets you replace a suspension kit without special tools. This unique flexibility, combined with ease of use, is what sets the Sordin Supreme T2 apart.

Audio profiles

SordinHEAR2’s audio profiles are pre-set listening modes, each adapted to typical tactical situations.

Tactical

The standard profile for general tactical use, balancing ambient sound and voice communication to optimize both situational awareness and comfort.

Comfort

Ideal for loud environments where voice communication takes priority over ambient sound—such as during shooting practice at the range.

Dual

Quiet environments: Focus on subtle sounds, as in overwatch or stop-to-listen situations. Loud environments: Hear ambient sound during gunfire, even when using the T2 with earplugs.

Ambient off

Disables ambient sound so your headset provides passive sound attenuation only. Perfect for full focus on communication in extreme noise conditions.

COMMUNICATION

Always on full team alert

Complement your T2 with a push-to-talk device (PTT)
for seamless integration of your headset, PTT, and radio system. Our PTTs are
available in single- or dual-channel models, with either splashproof or
waterproof designs.

Two radios – Sordin PTT Dual

A waterproof PTT that connects up to two radios to
your headset. Depending on the connector type, you can choose to have both
radio channels in both cups or split the signals between left and right.

One radio – Sordin PTT Single

A waterproof single-com PTT with a large, easy-to-use
button for reliable communication. Delivered as a complete assembly with
headset connector, downlead, and radio interface.

One radio or one mobile device – AUX

The T2 features an AUX input for connection of an
external radio or mobile device.
