Design freedom

Headband or neckband? Gel or memory foam cushions? There’s no need to decide up front—you can redesign your hearing protector later using accessories from the SordinFLEX component range.

SordinFLEX is a modular design platform that lets you reconfigure your headset by choosing from a set of standard accessories. For example, switch from a headband to a neckband model using a neckband suspension kit—and change it back whenever you like. Or, replace components as they wear out to extend the life of your headset.

Switching between headset configurations is easy. A simple bayonet grip lets you replace a suspension kit without special tools. Just bring the extra component with you and reconfigure on site, anytime. That’s design freedom—SordinFLEX style.

Audio profiles

SordinHEAR2’s audio profiles are pre-set listening modes, each adapted to typical hunting or shooting situations.

Hunter

The standard audio profile for general use. Gain and frequency are set at normal levels to mimic natural ambient sound, providing a good balance between situational awareness and comfort.

Focus

This profile features higher gain and a wider frequency spectrum than normal. Ideal for use in a hunting tower when you need maximum amplification to detect even the faintest sounds from game animals.

Shooter

A comfort-focused profile with reduced gain and a narrower frequency spectrum. Perfect for the shooting range, where situational awareness and ambient sound are less critical.

Ambient off

Disables ambient sound so your headset functions as passive hearing protection only. Communication remains active, making this mode ideal for activities like motorized transportation.

Superior earmuffs — really comfortable, and the HEAR2 sound profiles are awesome. It’s easy to switch between modes depending on whether I’m hunting or standing at the shooting range. I also bought the neckband version, which I prefer — much more comfortable than the standard headband (though that works great too).

They are performing! When hunting, I love that you now can locate point of origin when listening after the subtle step of the deer. However the small padding on microphone seem to disappear before you know it...
