Audio profiles

SordinHEAR2’s audio profiles are pre-set listening modes, each adapted to typical hunting or shooting situations.

Hunter

The standard audio profile for general use. Gain and frequency are set at normal levels to mimic natural ambient sound, providing a good balance between situational awareness and comfort.

Focus

This profile features higher gain and a wider frequency spectrum than normal. Ideal for use in a hunting tower when you need maximum amplification to detect even the faintest sounds from game animals.

Shooter

A comfort-focused profile with reduced gain and a narrower frequency spectrum. Perfect for the shooting range, where situational awareness and ambient sound are less critical.

Ambient off

Disables ambient sound so your headset functions as passive hearing protection only. Communication remains active, making this mode ideal for activities like motorized transportation.

Is it worth the price? Easily.

There's no other way of putting it - your senses will be heightened. Have you had trouble hearing people murmuring visual observations or general trouble with a variety of ear plugs in a pit blind? Problem solved right here. Worried about it's visual signature to the birds? Buy a mesh ghillie-like hood - it still allows for great sound to come through. Don't forget about the "plus" modes. In one of the settings, you can get a boost by turning the sensitivity all the way up, and then hold the volume up button for 2-3 seconds. It's my favorite mode. You hear everything, but in a sort of very well-orchestrated symphony if that makes an sense.

Comfortable, easy to use and work amazingly!

I use mine at the range all the time and have had no complaints whatsoever. The gel cups feel good and the sound is solid allowing me to hear voices and it muffles shots really well. I do double up with foamies but I still love this product. Only downside is changing batteries but it’s so rare that I don’t even really care about it. Would purchase again!
